Eyes thats burn like cigarettes..

I started a tradition called 'midweek debauchery' while I was an intern at the Sealife Center back in the day; basically in the cold, boring winter months we would go out to the bar and drink a pint of Guinness with a shot of tia maria in it. Its tastes luurvly and takes the bitter taste out of the Guinness. Its also gets you quite drunk hence the name midweek debauchery.

Well, we decided to go meet up with our friends at the Yukon bar on Wednesday Karaoke night and after one MB I was rather full. So I decided to be designated driver and watched Craig get a lil tipsy.

Well Craig actually sang Karaoke. I couldn't quite believe it..he even serenaded me and did some great hand gestures to lyrics like 'I want a girl with a mind like a diamond' and 'Shes playing with her jewelry, shes putting up her hair', Then he was getting molested by an old drunk lady who was grabbing him arse. It was pretty amusing stuff really.

Ok..aerogarden update!

Day 4 Italian Basil.

Day 6

Day 7

Its realy quite magical..it seems to grow before your eyes.

Today I had a little rehab center of my own; a little pine siskin flew into my window, I heard it hit and went to check. I saw this dude upside down in the snow below the window breathing very hard.

I brought him inside and put him in a box with some food and water. He just bumped his head really good and a few hours later he was good to go again.

Great way to make it through a cold winter...I'm to old for that anymore! One German beer and I'm history! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Great post, Aimeei! I am so glad I can check the status of the italian basil in the aero-garden.
Also, it is great to see you bringing your bird rehabilitaion home with you!! Most people are lazy and the last thing they want to do is work while at home... but you beat the odds and just go out and rescue, rescue, rescue! It seems like something you were born to do!~

Oh how sweet everything coming to life! Starting with Craig singing, to the herb and the cute little bird. xoxo

PS Ina is Jeter going on another vacation? I would say send him here, but I'm afraid he would be just as spoiled! He would get a "mint on his pillow" as I like to call it. When I dog sit for Riley (my employer's dog) she never wants to go home, she fights and pulls on the leash. LOL... xoxo
