AK Wildlife Troopers
Its very strange to read such an account of your life. It was really really scary, as in 'thought I was going to die' scary but I didn't! Yay, in fact I held up remarkably well but the truck not soo much.
I was going very fast when I crashed head on.
As you can see I tried to separate the cab from the truck bed and smash the back windows out everywhere.
I'm very very thankful I was wearing my seatbelt and I'm very glad for airbags.
The worst part for me about all this was that my partner in life wasn't there to make it all OK. Craig was out on a Hunting Trip in Prince William Sound so he didn't know till he got home 3 days later.
I have some amazing friends in Alaska who got me through some really rough days (Cindy Swan and Julie Atkinson-Elde in particular). You are wondeful people and my angels.
I'm forever indebted to the perfect strangers who came to help me on the highway and all the wondeful staff at Seward Providence Medical Center and the volunteer Ambulance Crew.
