I actually did some of the grunt work myself, no photgraphic evidence though. I learnt how to operate the digger and pick up and drop off loads of drain rock into the leach field. It was fun for about 15 minutes.
Our property is now slightly more level, though as the rain hasn't stopped in over 11 days there are some slight lake-sized puddles. Craig is optimistic that it will all level out by godswill or something.
We put down some peats moss and need about 500 more bags to do the entire area Craig oh so desires as a grassy wonderland.
Craig and I went to Anchorage early Tuesday morning for my first offical shift working at Bird TLC. I am now in love with a northern hawk owl called Sebastian who is a cheeky little monkey.
We braved the crowds at walmart to purchase some bulbs and soil so we could atleast get some colour in the garden next spring. Today we made a flower bed and planted tulips, daffodils, iris and hyacinths!
We bought our little angel a gift home too, though maybe we shouldn't be teaching him to be cuddle buds with the bears...hmmm...

Fantastic! You 2 are moving forward fabulously. I enjoyed Saebo's reaction to the open hole in the ground!
